How it works

Renting a car, or earning from one

Yenko connects people who need a car with Ghanaians who already own one. Here is what happens on each side.

For customers

From search to steering wheel. No queues, no paperwork at a counter.

  1. Search for a car

Filter by city, vehicle type, price, transmission, seats, and whether you want to drive yourself or have a driver.

  2. Choose your dates

Every listing shows a live availability calendar. Dates already booked, or blocked by the owner, cannot be selected.

  3. Upload required ID

A Ghana Card or passport. If you are driving yourself, a valid driver's licence as well. Your documents are stored privately and are visible only to Yenko.

  4. Make payment

Pay in Ghana Cedis by Mobile Money, card, or bank transfer through Paystack. You will see every line of the price before you pay.

  5. Pick up or receive the car

Collect the car at the agreed location, or arrange delivery with the owner. Yenko holds your payment until the trip is complete, then pays the owner.

For car owners

A car sitting in a driveway earns nothing. Listing is free.

  1. Sign up as a partner

Tell us who you are, where you are based, and how you would like to be paid — bank account or Mobile Money.

  2. Submit vehicle details

Photos, specifications, and your daily rate. Upload the roadworthy certificate and insurance document.

  3. Get approved by Yenko

We check your documents and your vehicle before the listing goes live. Nothing appears publicly until it has passed review.

  4. Receive bookings

You are notified by SMS and email when someone books. Block out dates whenever the car is unavailable.

  5. Earn

Yenko collects the payment and pays out your share. Track every booking and payout from your dashboard.
